Air Fryer Pizza Pockets with Puff Pastry
If you’re after a quick and delightful snack that’s sure to please everyone, these air fryer pizza pockets made with puff pastry are the ideal choice. To begin, preheat your air fryer to 200°C (390°F). Roll out a sheet of ready-made puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut the pastry into squares, about 10cm x 10cm, ready for filling.
For the filling, choose your favourite pizza toppings. A simple mix of mozzarella cheese, diced pepperoni, and a spoonful of tomato sauce works wonders. Place a generous spoonful of the filling in the centre of each pastry square, taking care not to overfill. Fold the pastry over to form a triangle and seal the edges with a fork, giving it that classic pocket shape.
Lightly brush the tops with beaten egg for a lovely golden finish, then pop them into the preheated air fryer. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until they are puffed up and golden brown. Once done, allow them to cool slightly before serving with a side of marinara sauce for dipping. These homemade pizza pockets are crispy on the outside and delightfully cheesy on the inside – perfect for a quick lunch or a snack at any time of the day!
