• Roasting garlic in an air fryer is a simple and convenient method that yields beautifully caramelised cloves with a rich, sweet flavour. To get started, take a whole bulb of garlic and slice off the top to expose the individual cloves. Drizzle a little olive oil over the exposed tops, then season with a pinch of salt and some freshly ground black pepper. Wrap the bulb in aluminium foil to help retain moisture.

Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (350°F). Once heated, place the wrapped garlic inside the basket and set the timer for approximately 20 to 25 minutes. Keep an eye on it towards the end of the cooking time, as air fryers can vary. The garlic is done when the cloves are soft and golden brown.

Once roasted, let it cool for a moment before squeezing the sweet, soft garlic out of its skins. This delectable addition can be spread onto crusty bread, stirred into mashed potatoes, or used to elevate your favourite recipes. Enjoy your perfectly roasted garlic!
